OOC - Character Info

Character Name: Mitsukuni “Honey” Haninozuka
Fandom: Ouran High School Host Club
Timeline: Post chapter 72
Crimes: Exuding astounding levels of childishness, having too high of a sugar intake level, taking midday naps despite his age, displaying incredible aggression when woken up (allegedly, he annihilated two American army platoons after one of the soldiers carelessly woke him), reaching immeasurable amounts of irritation when forbidden from sweets (such irritated behavior includes biting and/or throwing innocent objects or people)

Personality: His looks make him appear to be an elementary school student, and his childish personality does absolutely nothing to deter this misconception. Honey is as sweet as his nickname, constantly smiling and giggling cheerily at everyone he meets. Honey is quite amiable, always happy and willing to meet someone new, and has no problems shortening someone’s name down to a nickname one or two syllables (and adding the “-chan” suffix) even though he’s just met them (only his cousin Mori is spared from the nicknaming; Honey refers to him by his first name, Takashi). He’s always positive, seeming to fill the room with sunshine and flowers and bunnies with his mere presence. Talkative by nature, he’s a master of smiling adorably at just the right moment to make girls coo over him. He doesn’t think twice about hugging or jumping on someone, and feels absolutely no shame in casting hopeful, longing looks at people or crying to get what he wants (usually sweets).

Just don’t try taking away his favorite things. For you see, Honey has a bit of an obsession with sweets and cute things. He’s constantly consuming cake, candy, and chocolate, and he’s made it a habit to consume three whole cakes after dinner. Some days of the week, he even has “special cake night” in which he devours even more cake in the middle of the night. It would be wise to never come between this boy and his cake; his brother learned the hard way that Honey’s love for cake is second only to his love for his stuffed rabbit. When denied his sweets, this teenager’s sweet personality takes a 180-degree turn. He becomes irritable, angry, and violent, oftentimes taking his anger out on nearby objects and people. This personality flop also rears its ugly head whenever Honey happens to be woken up from a nap. Once he comes back to his senses though, he’ll undoubtedly shed tears as he apologizes, as he hates being mean (unless you’ve gone and tried to hurt his friends).

Despite his childish personality, he’s actually quite perceptive. Honey is good at reading other people from their words and actions, quite often realizing certain things about people that they themselves are completely unaware of. He’s surprisingly good at giving advice as well; it’s in moments like these that he actually seems to be his age, speaking softly with a reassuring smile.

Abilities: Although he looks cute and sweet and adorable and harmless etc. etc., he actually comes from a family well-known for martial arts; they train most of the elite guards both in Japan and the rest of the world. It makes sense, then, that Honey has been in training all his life. Naturally, he was the middle-school champion in judo and karate, is oftentimes asked to give demonstrations at various dojos, and has no difficulty in throwing grown men. Despite his deceiving size, Honey is the strongest in his family, and has even been requested by the government to never use 100% of his power in battle (out of fear that if he did go all-out, other countries would think Japan was hiding weapons of mass destruction).

He is also capable of crying at will.
